Human Leukocyte Immunoglobulin Like Receptor Subfamily A, Member 3 (LILRA3) ELISA Kit
Principle of the Assay
The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to LILRA3. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody preparation specific to LILRA3. Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After the TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain LILRA3, biotin-conjugated antibody, and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution, and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of LILRA3 in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

Target Information
Acts as soluble receptor for class I MHC antigens. Binds both classical and non-classical HLA class I molecules but with reduced affinities compared to LILRB1 or LILRB2. Binds with high affinity to the surface of monocytes, leading to abolish LPS-induced TNF-alpha production by monocytes.
