| Background | Cell adhesion molecules (CAMs) influence cell growth, differentiation, embryogenesis, immune response and cancer metastasis by networking information from the extracellular matrix to the cell. Neurotrimin belongs to the IgLON family of proteins, a member of the larger immunoglobulin superfamily. |
