| Description | 5-Aminofluorescein diacetate is a non-fluorescent probe that after entering the cells can be cleaved by esterases to form 5-Aminofluorescein (5-AF) a fluorescence marker with excitation wavelength at 490 nm and the emission wavelength at 515 nm. The compound can be used as a negative control for the fluorescent probe DAF-2 DA. 5-Aminofluorescein diacetate could also be used as a starting material or intermediate in synthesis of fluorescent probes. |
